A CrisisDogsNC Group Flight

One of our favorite pilots Mitch Armanate made four stops to scoop up three dogs and bring them to their homes. His Cessna Centurion T210 left Asheville early Saturday morning June 2, under clear skies with 8 year old chi x Santana, whose adoption didn’t work out as CrisisDogsNC hoped…through no fault of his own. Next stop the airport in Concord, NC to pick up little Tommy . A hour later, they landed at RDU, where Tommy's adopter and Santana's foster family waited with open arms!

Next, puppy Apple. a rescue from Cumberland County shelter, was boarded for the return flight to Asheville ...and Apple's new home.

Apple en route, an easy rider!

And at landing, where young Apple met his new family and will share their home the beautiful mountains of North Carolina!

Tommy is now Duffy, relaxing at home.

And Santana has an adoptive family and a little boy of his own.

Thank you pilot Mitch, drivers, fosters and donors, and of course the wonderful people who step up for our rescued dogs!
