Second PilotsNPaws flight for Tommy the Beagle

May 13, 2018

PilotsnPaw Chip Colgary shrugged off little Tommy's motion sickness, evidence of which he was cleaning off the back seat of his Piper Warrior.

"It's not like he brought a grenade on board," Chip said. Colgary and co pilot  Aaron Ravenscraft, members of the Army Special Operations Aviation Unit, flew CrisisDogsNC rescue Tommy from Concord, NC to his adopter to live a luxury life on Emerald Isle.

This was Tommy's second flight. The heartworm positive beagle, rescued from Translyvania County shelter, first flew to a foster family two weeks ago....but they were unable to keep him through treatment. Thankfully an adopter stepped up and Tommy took once again to the air. A happy new beginning! Thank you pilots Chip and Aaron!
