Marty and Millie Fly to Homes!

March 1, 2018

PNP pilots Tony Russo and Henry Siegels’ first stop on what would be a 630 nautical mile rescue mission was Fayetteville, North Carolina, to pick up CrisisDogsNC rescue Marty, who had finished arduous heartworm treatment and had a home waiting in Frederick, Maryland

It was then a hop over to RDU for senior Miss Millie who was heading to a long term hospice foster in College Park.

The two dogs, buckled into the back seat, quietly enjoyed the view from the Cessna 182Q on this cloudless Sunday in February.

And later that night, Marty is at home.

And Miss Millie is at home!
