It was a fantastic week of flights, rescue, and adoptions. Nick flew to his new home in Asheville. Puppy Rigby flew from his Fayetteville foster via Raliegh Durham airport to his home in Ocracoke Beethoven, whose family didn't want him after 8 years, found a wonderful home with a vet school student and her husband and was outfitted with toys and a bow tie at PetSmart. Nicholas Flies
Richmond county shelter rescue Nicholas left his foster today to fly to his new family in Asheville. Here pre boarding with Pilot Donn Hartley. Boarded in the back seat with a cushy dog bed. And ready for take off: Pilot Donn Hartley texted during the flight:
"Nick and I are enjoying views of the countryside." A great day to fly! A safe arrival and happy end of the day at his new home.

A Week of Puppy Love and a Graduation
The "Yadkin 3" puppies , Sunny and Jude found homes this week. Jude in Raleigh where he will join a household with 3 other border collies. Sunny is now living in Asheville where he will be the first dog of a young couple who are architects. They drove the 5 hours trip to meet and fall in love with this little guy. Rigby is awaiting his flight to a beach side home in Ocracoke! Meanwhile he enjoys bathing and belly rubs. Congrats to Big Tahoe, rescued last year from Cumberland

Pup Caleb was on the euthanasia list at the Columbus County, NC shelter when CrisisDogsNC swept him up into a foster home near Chapel Hill.
